First time clients:

An electronic intake and informed consent will be emailed with confirmation of your first appointment. Please be sure it is completed prior to appointment; or arrive 10-minutes earlier for the paper version to save us time.

Lateness:

Appointments are booked back-to- back and most likely will not be able to accommodate over-time with respect to the following client. Please be on time.

Cancellations:

Less than 24-hours notice or "No Shows" will be charged full price of the scheduled service. A package session will be forfeited. If you are pregnant and can't make the appointment due to labor, the session can be used as a gift certificate for a postnatal massage.

Refunds:

Due to the nature of our business, we do not offer full or partial refunds for massage services or gift certificates.

Conduct:

Our services are therapeutic and strictly non-sexual. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service at any time, for any reason, in an effort to ensure the safety of our clients and ourselves.

It is important to understand that we do not diagnose clients. When appropriate, we will make referrals when we feel you may benefit from a particular expertise.

We will be following CDC and New York State protocols for COVID-19 physical distancing and sanitizing; the health and safety of our clients and staff are of paramount importance to us.

New Booking Policies:

Due to COVID-19, we are temporarily limiting the number of daily appointments; we are only booking 1-hour visits until further notice.

If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, we will need to reschedule your appointment after a quarantine and/or future test results.

If you have been to a COVID-19-impacted area or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact.

All bookings will be prepaid and touchless interactions. Verbal and text appointments will still require an online reservation.

Our online booking system will email a COVID-19 related intake form for new and existing clients. Clients must fill out the electronic COVID-19 Health Information & Informed Consent form and email it to us prior to your appointment. You will also receive either a screening call/text prior to your appointment.

Upon Entering The Office:

Practice physical distancing at least 6ft apart.

Masks are required by NYC law. Anyone entering the office will be required to wear a mask before entry and throughout their visit. Adequately worn masks cover both the nose and mouth. If you arrive without a mask, we will supply one for you.

Upon your arrival, we will use a No-Touch Forehead Thermometer to test your body temperature. Any individual experiencing a temperature over 100.4 (industry standard), will need to reschedule their appointment.

There will be sanitizer available and you are encouraged to wash your hands with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds before entering the treatment room.

In Treatment:

Both, Massage Therapist and the client/you are required by law to wear a face mask throughout the duration of your session. To ensure your comfort, all sessions will be performed in either side-lying (a comfortable position which we are experts in working with), supine (face-up), and/or semi-reclining (lying at a forty-five-degree angle with lumbar support).

We will work through this together, as always!

Cleanliness + Lateness:

We have allotted a half-hour after every appointment to thoroughly disinfect the room between each client. Our air purifier has a heating coil of 400 F  which runs silently to clean and freshen the air in the treatment room during your treatment and in-between patients. Appointment times are as scheduled and cannot extend beyond the stated time to accommodate late arrivals; so please arrive on time for your appointment.

Cancellations

Amid the uncertainty of COVID-19, we have modified our cancellation policy to offer flexibility for all of our clients. We hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you are not feeling well, we understand and request that you please contact us ASAP to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellations at this time.

Colds + Sickness:

Massage/bodywork is not appropriate care for infectious or contagious illness. Please cancel your appointment as soon as you are aware of an infectious or contagious condition.
